I have been a psychotherapist for thirty years. My work has been deeply enhanced by Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. I was fortunate enough to complete my EFT Externship with Dr. Sue Johnson herself when she presented for NYCEFT in Manhattan. Her use of attachment theory as the foundation of the EFT model immediately resonated with me. As the director of a large adoption and child welfare agency in the New York metropolitan area for a number of years, understanding and evaluating the quality of the parent/child attachment bond has been my life's work. Therefore, it was not a big leap for me to see that the security and quality of the attachment bond carries over and impacts adult intimate partner relationships as well.

Clients find me compassionate, caring, and nonjudgemental. I believe being in a genuine, caring therapeutic relationship can be a catalyst for change. My specialties include infertility, pregnancy loss, and adoption. I am also available to those who want to explore issues with spirituality.
