Kelly Zanatich, PhD
We all have the capacity to live happier lives and to have more satisfying relationships. However, many of us find ourselves stuck in co-created patterns of conflict and disconnection with our partners and can benefit from having an understanding third party who can maintain safety and facilitate healing and reconnection. I practice Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples resolve emotional blocks and strengthen trust, openness, compassion, and communication in their relationships.
I am a licensed psychologist with a private practice in Montclair, and I work with people struggling with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. The wisdom of both contemporary psychotherapy and meditative traditions have inspired my professional path. My background includes training in mindfulness meditation and mindfulness-based psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and psychodynamic models. I also specialize in working with military veterans and their reintegration process.
