Maria M. Lorditch, Vice President of Communications and Membership
Maria Lorditch, MSW, LCSW is an ICEEFT Certified EFT therapist with a private practice in Morristown, NJ, where she primarily works with individuals and couples. She began her career in the field at a community mental health agency serving at-risk children and their families as their bilingual Spanish/English clinician, and then later as a coordinator of programs, supervising clinical staff and interfacing with other community providers of service. Maria has formal training in working with victims of trauma, including domestic violence, sexual abuse, and other attachment-related trauma; she has completed both parts of basic training in EMDR. As a result of her work with families, Maria gravitated toward couples work. She enrolled and then graduated from the NJ Couples Therapy Training Program (NJCTTP), a division of the Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of NJ (CPPNJ) in 2013, and is now a member of the program's faculty. She discovered EFT through NJCTTP and has since devoted herself to mastering this scientifically-proven model of treatment. As a bilingual psychotherapist and a founder of EFTCNJ, she hopes to support the growth of EFT in both languages throughout the greater NJ area.
